Union Comm Supports Successful APEC BCG Startups Seminar on Sustainable

Union Communications Hong Kong Limited ("Union Comm"), a leading policy advocacy consultancy, proudly announced its successful collaboration with the Beijing International Exchange Association (Link) and the National Innovation Agency of Thailand (Link) for the Seminar on APEC Bio-Circular-Green (BCG) Startups Regional Program on Sustainable Growth. This collaborative effort reaffirms Union Comm's dedication to advancing digital inclusion and gender equality.

The seminar, which took place from September 11 to 13, 2023, in Nanning, China, garnered support from the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC, Link). It is a part of the APEC project “APEC Bio-Circular-Green (BCG) Startups Regional Program on Sustainable Growth” (APEC Website Link). It represented a significant milestone in advancing the dialogue on sustainable economic development, and Union Comm remains committed to supporting such initiatives in the future.


Union Comm played a pivotal role in providing essential support to the project overseers, ensuring the event's seamless execution. This support encompassed critical aspects, including research on technology empowering the BCG Economy Model in APEC economies, seminar schedule design, and on-ground event coordination.


The highlight of the event was the participation of Mr. Sam Han, a distinguished researcher and partner at Union Comm. Sam delivered a compelling presentation introducing the discussion paper on the APEC Best Practice: Technology Empowering BCG Economy Model. His insights and expertise contributed significantly to the discussions held during the seminar.
